Phil has broad experience both as an entrepreneur and private industry senior executive, which is an asset to the Firm and our clients. In addition to once owning a CPA practice, he is a former owner of Andersen Electric, former President of Belair Excavating and has had ownership and/or board roles in a number of diversified for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Additionally, Phil is a past Chair of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis Finance Council. This experience combined with his CPA and his Certified Financial Planner® background makes him an ideal strategic planning business resource and personal financial planning team member. 

Phil is a University of St. Thomas graduate and was an instructor at St. Thomas in both the Undergraduate and Masters Programs for 12 years. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Financial Planning Association.
